Suicide bombing is a reaction of the suppressed against the powerful. When anarchy prevails, law enforcing agencies fail to protect the rights of common citizens, the bigwigs pay only lip service, and then the suicidal bombers are born. It has engulfed almost the whole world. It has spread such mayhem that all feel themselves unsafe. The high-ups of all the countries feel themselves insecure because of suicidal attacks.

All of these attacks in Palestine. The Palestinians were tortured, dishonored and killed by the Jews of Israel. They were turned on of their homes. USA and the Jew lobby have always supported and pampered Israel. Israel unleashed a cycle of violence in Palestine. The Palestinians were weaponless and unarmed. They could not stand the brutal behavior imposed on them. The young Palestinians filled with revenge at this injustice, decided to resort to suicidal attacks.

The attackers are desperate and frustrated people. They are not uneducated and illiterate people. They carefully converse with the world politicians. They are emotional and ambitious young boys and girls. They attack the enemy without caring for their life. They lose their life in a flash of moment and hit their enemy severely.

The suicidal attacks were 'motivated for a noble and good cause. They were charged with a spirit of seeking justice from the world. The civilized Western world did not pay heed to the injustice done to the Palestinians. The Palestinians put up a great resistance to the atrocities committed on them by the Israelites. America and its prodigal Israel were at first wonderstruck at this type of defense. The attackers lost their lives but they also killed many people of the enemy and destroyed their buildings and houses. There exists a network of suicidal attacks in Palestine and the Western world is helpless before these attacks.

The suicidal attacks cause great destruction. Some vehicles like cars or trucks are fitted in with remote controlled bombs. The attackers strike against a building, a plaza or some notable place. He loses his life in this act but causes a great disaster around that area. Many innocent people are killed and a large number of buildings are destroyed. The sight of destruction presents a ghostly spectacle. Such irrational acts cannot be liked by home-loving people.

Man is Allah's vicegerent on earth. His very life is Allah's trust with him. Everyone is thus ordained to act as a guard to Allah's trust on him. He has to utilize the trust on him as prescribed by Allah. These suicide bombers not only kill themselves but blow several innocent civilian people along with the targeted enemy. It is a pathetic form of terrorism indeed, not Jihad. The Holy Quran upholds the sacredness of life as: "lf anyone killed a person unless it be for murder or for spreading mischief in the land, it would be as if he killed the whole people, and if anyone saved a person, it would be as if he saved the whole people." (al-Ma'ida: 32)

"And take not life which Allah has made sacred, except by way of justice and law " (al-An'am: 151)

"And, kill (or destroy) not yourselves; verily, Allah is Most Merciful to you."

(al-Nisa: 29)

Holy Prophet (PBUH) contradicts suicide in the following lines: "One who killed himself with iron (i.e. some sharp instrument) would hold that instrument in his hands in the Hell and continue striking himself with it. And who killed himself by poisoning, would have that poison in his hands ad would kill himself with it repeatedly. “

The above verses and hadith make it clear that under no circumstance Allah acknowledges  suicide. The abode for such people is Inferno, not Paradise.

Suicide negates faith in Allah and the concept that life is a trust of Allah. It is the opposite of the Islamic concept that attaches great sanctity to human life. Instead of seeking and expecting Allah's favors, it clashes with the Divine commands for the observance of patience, fortitude and perseverance. It is the product of despair and loss of spirit, which the Quran declares sign of disbelieve. That is why even aspiring for death is forbidden in Islam, let alone committing suicide.

The cycle of violence can easily be finished by adopting the following measures. The civilized western world should decide to undo all injustices going on in the world. The policies adopted by the superpower America have 'made the world 'a more dangerous place to live in. It is the entire obligation of America to see that full justice is done to the Muslims in all over the world. The ruthless killing of the Muslims of Kashmir, Iraq and Palestine must be stopped at once America must stop to support Israel. The Muslim rulers must learn to usher in an era of true democracy. of their countries. If the injustices to the Muslim keep fin going like this, suicidal attacks will also continue. One should know clearly that violence breeds violence.
